ABOUT
Hello and Welcome! I'm Susan Black, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I help women in midlife and menopause get off the diet roller coaster for good with a healthy eating and lifestyle plan for more energy, managing a healthy weight, better health, improved sleep, and tackling those pesky hot flashes. You deserve to feel good!

-
Are you sick of dieting and tired of stressing about what to eat?
-
Do you want to have more energy, curb cravings, and reduce stress eating?
-
Are you frustrated and exhausted from the "eat less and exercise more" routine for weight loss?
-
Do you notice brain fog creeping in, weight gain, less energy, hot flashes, and getting good sleep feels more like a dream than reality?
-
Are you concerned about your health, increasing cholesterol, blood pressure, and risk of prediabetes?
-
Ready to ditch diets, stop yo-yo dieting and focus on the joy of good health rather than the number on the scale?
-
Would you like to spend your time and energy enjoying life rather than counting calories, macros, or points?
-
Do you suffer from perimenopause or menopause symptoms that leave you feeling more like a "hot mess" and less like yourself?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you're in the right place!
Stop struggling and get headed in the right direction with a healthy and sustainable eating and lifestyle plan. I don't believe in diets, counting calories or macros, eliminating foods you enjoy, or that the number on the scale measures your success. I believe in focusing on the goal of good health rather than the number on the scale, and that small changes get big results.
I look at the whole picture of you by addressing nutrition, eating habits, lifestyle, exercise, stress, sleep, mindset, and self-care.

If you're ready to get started with a sustainable healthy eating and lifestyle plan to help you thrive in perimenopause and menopause, schedule a 15-minute call with me.

I have over 34 years experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist helping women in midlife build healthy nutrition and lifestyle habits without the stress of an unrealistic and frustrating diet. I became a dietitian because I wanted to help others learn how to use food to improve their health and feel their best. Healthy eating doesn't have to be complicated or restrictive; it should be easy and enjoyable and fit into your life.
I've always believed in the proverb "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." One positive step can lead to so many positive actions in our lives.

I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family and friends, gardening, traveling, and trying new things. Life is an adventure!

I accept HSA/FSA cards and credit/debit card.

"Working with Susan is such a joy! She is compassionate, charismatic, nonjudgmental, and a great listener. She sculpts health plans for each individual she sees taking the time to understand their background, challenges, and needs. Susan focuses on making sustainable lifestyle changes, not restrictive crash diets that are hard to stick to. She has always advocated for me with much needed guidance and encouragement.
