ABOUT

Hello and Welcome! I'm Susan Black, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.  I help women in midlife and menopause nourish and flourish. Get off the diet roller coaster for good and create healthy eating and lifestyle habits to improve your health, have more energy, lose weight, and get better sleep. You deserve to feel good!

  • Are you frustrated and exhausted from the "eat less and exercise more" routine for weight loss?

  • Do you want to have more energy, curb cravings, and stop stress eating?

  • Are you struggling to lose weight, sick of dieting and tired of stressing about what to eat?

  • Do you notice more brain fog creeping in, hot flashes, mood shifts, increasing anxiety, achy joints and pains, and getting decent sleep feels more like a dream than a reality?

  • Are you concerned about your health and increasing cholesterol, blood pressure, fatty liver disease, or prediabetes risk?

  • Would you like to spend your time and energy enjoying life rather than counting calories, macros, or points?

  • Are you suffering with menopause symptoms that leave you feeling more like a "hot mess" and less like yourself?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you're in the right place!

Break free from the "all-or-nothing" thinking, end the confusion, frustration and exhaustion, and thrive in your 40's, 50's, 60's (and beyond!). I don't believe in diets, counting calories or macros, eliminating foods you enjoy, or that the number on the scale measures your success. I believe in focusing on the goal of good health and feeling your best, from the inside out. I believe small changes get big results.

You do not have to suffer and struggle through perimenopause or menopause symptoms! As a woman in my mid-fifties, I completely understand the health challenges and body changes in midlife. Nutrition and lifestyle can make a big difference and get you back to feeling like you again.

I look at the whole picture of you by addressing nutrition, eating habits, lifestyle, behavior, exercise, environment, inflammation, gut health, hormones, stress, sleep, self-care, beliefs, habits, thoughts, feelings, and your relationship with food. Learn a more balanced, flexible, and mindful approach for better health, more energy, improved sleep, and sustainable weight loss.

If you're ready to create a healthy lifestyle plan, without the stress and overwhelm of a diet, schedule a free 20-minute call with me. Let's talk about you, your health goals, and where you struggle.

I have over 30 years experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist helping clients build healthy nutrition and lifestyle habits without the stress of some unrealistic and frustrating diet. I became a dietitian because I wanted to help others learn how to use food to improve their health and feel their best. Healthy eating doesn't have to be complicated or restrictive; it should be easy and enjoyable and fit into your life.

I've always believed in the proverb "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." One positive step can lead to so many positive actions in our lives.

I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family and friends, gardening, traveling, and trying new things. Life is an adventure!

I accept HSA/FSA cards and credit/debit cards.
